Georgios Asimis, MD

I started my journey in psychiatry in 1997, first studying at Saba University School of Medicine, then training in Chicago at Rosalind Franklin University, and finally specializing in helping people overcome addiction at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami.

My work took me to New York, where I discovered my true calling in helping people through outpatient care.

For over ten years, I’ve also been working with patients in hospitals and using online appointments to make sure everyone can get the help they need, no matter where they are.

I’m allowed to practice in six states and have earned special certificates in general psychiatry and addiction treatment from the ABPN.

I am here for you.

Traveling and working in different places has taught me a lot about how to best help people.

I’ve learned how important it is to really listen, to connect on a human level, and to look at the whole picture of someone’s health, both body and mind.

As a psychiatrist, I mix traditional medicine, talking therapies, and natural treatments to give the best care possible. This journey hasn’t just made me better at my job; it’s made me more dedicated to making a difference in people’s lives.

I’m looking forward to helping you find your way to feeling better and healthier.

Take care,

Georgios Nikolaos Asimis, MD, CIMHP
